Auburn hosts first Fall ‘New Referee Clinic’ for 2025; more to come.

This morning, Auburn proudly welcomed a new group of referees as we kick off the Fall season. We’re excited to have you on board!

Now is the time to register as we head into the busiest time of the year. The Fall season features a full slate of youth and competitive play, including the Alabama State League (U12–U19), younger age divisions (U8–U12), and the Futures League for recreational and beginner players.

Referees will also see opportunities in higher-level youth competitions such as ECRL, ECNL, MLS Next, and Mid-South, which represent some of the most advanced youth play in the state. Additionally, Alabama’s State Cup serves as the premier event for the State League calendar as an identifier event and a chance to meet other referees from around the state.

Adult soccer remains active as well, with multiple leagues hosted in Birmingham and Huntsville, plus regional and national leagues like UPSL.

Alabama is full of opportunities, and the need for referees is greater than ever. New referee classes are still being held around the state! Visit this page to see where new classes are being held.
