Intent to Upgrade

The Alabama State Referee Committee suggests referees to declare their intention to upgrade as early as possible in the registration year which begins on July 1 each year. Although the SRC no longer enforces a deadline on the Letter of Intent to upgrade, earlier receipt of the letter allows the SRC to aid referees as much as possible.

While exceptions are possible, the SRC strongly suggests that referees consider waiting until the next registration cycle for referees who have not begun the upgrade process before April of any registration year.
